2008-11-18 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Mr. Barnhart assumed care of the instrument in 1941. His notes indicate that the organ still a tracker at the time he took over care, and it was electrified a few years later. Notes in the church history seem to suggest it was electrified "as is." The console was moved twice - once in the 1950s and again in the 1960s. The church suffered a fire on Monday, June 20, 1977. This partially damaged the organ, requiring new manual windchests, replacement of the facade pipes which included 1-17 of the Great 8' Open Diapason, a new Pedal regulator, and new bass for the Swell Open Diapason. A new II Mixture was added to the Great. The existing Pedal chest was retained and rebuilt. Source: church history. -Database Manager
