2008-11-25 - Identified through online information from Timothy Hemry. -- This organ was transported by the congregants of St. Barnabas and put together by them under the auspices of Westlake Organ Service in late 70s. In 1981 Tim Hemry was commissioned to "bring some order to things." The Swell and some pedal stops were maintained on the transferred Austin chests. The Great and Positiv were built utilizing electric action slider chests from OSI. The Great has a new Principal chorus using pipes built by Ken Yukl of Kent, reeds and mixtures by Giesecke of Germany. The facade pipes (8' PRESTANT) are made of flamed copper. Many pipes were rebuilt with new languids and the Austin console was maintained with appropriately labeled new tablets. -Database Manager
2016-04-20 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- New organ incorporating 13 registers from the church's previously transplanted ca. 1921 Austin, Op. 936, installed in 1978. The Great 8' Prestant of flamed copper and the Pedal 8' Holz Principal form the façade. Chests are slider with electro-mechanical pull-downs. New pipework by Yukl, Giesecke, and Bosch. The dedication recital was performed by Karel Paukert on October 30, 1983. -Database Manager
