2008-11-25 - Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr. -Database Manager
2018-12-27 - Retained the case of the 1882 Pilcher; the Basilica website says that the organ was rebuilt in the 1990's. -Database Manager
2022-04-09 - The case and facade are from the original 1882 H. Pilcher & Sons Organ. Behind the facade is a black hexagonal-shaped organ box with visible Gt. and Sw. shutters. In the 1990's, new pipework was added and some of the original 1958 Moller pipework was either rearranged or taken out. By the late 2010's, the combination action was in poor condition. A new electric combination action was installed into the 1958 console with an addition of 20 levels of memory and new digital stops. It also appears that the keys were also replaced recently. -Daniel Gauger
