2013-03-06 - Updated through online information from John G, Bateson. -- The local news here in Pittsburgh broadcast a report that the organ has been found and that the person who removed it was a former employee of the church because he feared it would damaged by the lack of heat in the church over the winter. It is to be returned to St. Justin's by Wednesday, March 6. After this, the organ will be placed in storage for safe keeping. As for the man who removed it, he has asked for forgiveness and he will have to make restitution to the parish before he receives absolution. Also, he did not intend to sell it. Because of the mitigating circumstances, the Diocese of Pittsburgh, who owns the building and its contents, has decided not to prosecute. There is no news as to what the diocese intends to do with the organ or the building. -Database Manager
