Notes

2008-12-21 - Identified through information published in John Ferguson's Walter Holtkamp: American Organ Builder (DMA treatise, Eastman School of Music, 1976). Although neither Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling nor their successor Holtkamp Organ Co. assigned Opus numbers to their instruments, this organ was identified in factory documents as Job number 1636. That number appears here as the Opus number of this instrument. -Database Manager

2014-11-19 - Updated through online information from John McCraney. -- This information is taken from John Allen Ferguson's WALTER HOLTKAMP: AMERICAN ORGAN BUILDER (Kent: Kent State U P, 1979), pgs. 56 (photo),58,114-16 and an advertisement with small photo in the DIAPASON (November 2007). Its availability was mentioned on the Holtkamp Company website sometime later. -Database Manager

2022-06-17 - The church closed in 2009 and the organ was removed by Holtkamp to storage and eventual sale. -Jeff Scofield
