2008-12-22 - All facade pipes were made by A.R. Schopp of Alliance, Ohio. The Trompeta Real features resonators of flamed copper; the first twelve pipes are half-length, while the rest are full length. All reeds were made by Giesecke. The casework and low-profile console are white oak with natural finish enhanced by Danish oil. The console contains lighted push buttons from Solid State Logic on sloped inward panels to control stops, couplers and the programmable crescendo. The tuning is equal temperament. Case design and drawings were by Gerrit Verkade. The construction and installation was by Louis Patterson, wish scaling and voicing by Leonard Berghaus. Philip Gehring was the consultant and dedication recitalist. (from The American Organist, March 1990) -Database Manager
