This organ served until an early electronic organ was purchased. The electronic organ served until 1974 when it was sold for $400.00, and a new Wicks pipe organ was installed at the front on the right side of the original building by Mr. Charles W. Allen of Seattle, Washington. The cost of the Wicks was $7,708.00 and it was purchased with a new building in mind. Ground-breaking for the new [present] sanctuary began in 1975. The old church was sold to the Baptist congregation and moved to 16th & Beech. The Wicks was hoisted into the choir loft of the new church on April 12, 1978. The first worship service held in the new facility was June 4, 1978, and the building was dedicated August 21, 1981. The Flute rank of the organ has an unusual construction. The first 24 pipes are of stopped wood. The next eight (8) pipes are capped metal. The next 29 pipes are true Koppel Flöte pipes, with the remaining 36 pipes being open metal trebles.
