Notes

2008-12-23 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is installed in a central chamber in the rear gallery. The Open Diapason unit is unenclosed out front. The console was centered below. In the 1960's, an independent 2' Principal was added to the Great and also playing as a tenor C 4' Principal on both manuals. The organ was described in the Balcom and Vaughan files; I documented the extant organ April 3, 1992 and updated my notes in April 1997. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ is mostly installed in one chamber at the back of the church on the
central axis. The Great Open Diapason unit is unenclosed and exposed in front
of the pipe chamber.

The pipework is partly used from the Kimball located at the Episcopal Cathedral
in Spokane, WA. The console and rectifier are new. The cost of the organ was
$6,802.00 plus applicable sales tax. It was dedicated on January 22, 1961 at
7:07 p.m. by Eugene M. Nye, organist at First Church of Christ Scientist in
Seattle.
