2013-07-01 - Updated through online information from Bob Rose. -- I visited the church on Tuesday June 25, 2013. We were members in this church until 1969. Beecher Hills Baptist Church was sold in 1993 to Providence Baptist Church. The organ is still unaltered in the original building and needs to be brought up to date electronically etc. -Database Manager
2013-11-07 - Updated through online information from Larry Verlander. -- The console is currently stored in a hallway leading from the main sanctuary and is not longer playable. Displayed pipes are still in place but unusable. -Database Manager
2015-03-29 - Updated through online information from Leonard A. Brown. -- I was the last person to play this organ in the late 1990s. The church, Providence Missionary Baptist was renovated; however it did not include the repair of the organ. Our music which is contemporary does not seem to lend itself to the pipe organ. The future of the organ isn't very bright. Obtaining funding in the form of a grant might save the instrument. A smaller console may work. -Database Manager
