Notes

2009-01-20 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Unknown if this organ replaced the previous 1920s two-manual Austin, or was used to augment it. The Wicks was originally installed at St. Paul's R.C. in Highland, Illinois. According to an e-mail on 1/19/09 from Wicks Service Manager William F. Bust, Opus 3170 seems to have incorporated the pipes of another two-manual organ of undocumented origins. When Opus 3170 was relocated here to New Jersey, five new ranks plus a new III Mixture were added. The original 8' Salicional and Voix Celeste stayed behind in the new organ at St. Paul's R.C. in Highland. There were reportedly problems with the organ brought about by the installer - and the organ may now no longer be at First C.S. -Database Manager
