2009-11-10 - Updated through on-line information from Stephen Hall. -- Opus 2047 was built in 1983 for Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The instrument was originally 15 stops and 18 ranks. When the church made the decision to move to a new facility, the Reuter Company was called for advice on relocating the organ and was able to place the instrument with another client. In 2008, the organ was removed and returned to the factory, where it was re-engineered for its new home at Community of Christ Lutheran Church.
