2022-04-26 - Multiple pipes are collapsed and dead notes plague the instrument making simple practice nearly impossible. The organ is severely out of tune and all of the pipework is covered in a thick layer of dust. Console has multiple sticking and cracked keys and the pedalboard is very worn. Expression shoe also slams and needs to be rebalanced. Digital levels of memory would be highly desirable. The instrument was neglected for decades and needs a total overhaul. A new console, additional pipework, and better climate control in the room + acoustic panels would greatly improve the organ practice studio. -Benjamin Sommer
2022-08-27 - The Department of Music has shown absolutely no interest or care in maintaining/replacing the organ despite repeated attempts from the organ professor advocating for any level of servicing whatsoever. -Benjamin Sommer
