2014-11-20 - Updated through online information from Bruce Schutrum. -- The former Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is now the Episcopal Church Center for the Diocese of San Diego. Trinity Chapel serves a mostly homeless congregation in Ocean Beach. The diocese is seeking volunteers to provide music for the Sunday Eucharist (prelude, communion and postlude) and one or two hymns. I have been told that the organ was last played in July (2014).<br>The swell is in a chamber above the narthex with the great cantilevered in front. The blower, static reservoir and rectifier are in a crawl space (littered with construction debris from remodeling) below the narthex. The console is situated on the South side of what once was the chancel area. Above the console in an attic space is an enclosed Holzgedeckt (the power to its blower has been cut). This stop shares the key contacts with the main organ Gedeckt; although there are separate tablets for each stop, a pair of toggle switches on the right of the stop tablets allows one to choose which stop plays. -Database Manager
