2018-03-04 - Updated by Mark Hurley, who has heard or played the organ.<br> The Möller organ was removed by R.A. Daffer Church Organ, Inc. ca. 2004 for a complete rebuilding. All chests were rebuilt into direct electric chests and all pipes ranks were revoiced accordingly. Several ranks required repair due to metal fatigue. All winding was redesigned and installed to ensure silent operation. A custom three-manual Rodgers console (with custom specification) replaced the Möller console. It utilizes wood-core keyboards, moving stop knobs and a cherry finish. The central portion of the façade dates from a 1930s Möller installed in the church. The organ was dedicated by organist Frederick Swann in Fall 2005. -Database Manager
