2013-09-07 - Updated through online information from James M. Robertson. -- Built in 1956 for Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, MN. Designed, installed, and voiced by Carl Bassett (who bought the Skinner company in 1949 upon Ernest's retirement). (Mr, Bassett's involvement is documented in papers from Trinity Church). It is a late Skinner, as Mr. Bassett appears to have stopped building Skinner organs a year or so later. The organ was purchased in 1990 by Wooddale Lutheran Church. Gould and Schultz rebuilt and enlarged the organ from its original 17 ranks. The organ continues in use in both traditional and contemporary liturgies. -Database Manager
