2009-03-12 - Identified through on-line information from James C. Burke, Ph.D.. -- This was the first pipe organ in the 1855 St. John's Episcopal Church. It was purchased at a cost of $2,100. In 1913, St. John's donated the organ to Church of the Good Shepherd in Wilmington, NC. Prof. George L Johnson installed the organ at the new located.
