2021-09-22 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- In a phone conversation with church elder and long-time member Jeff James, I learned that the Votteler was originally made available by the grandson of G.F. Votteler. When the church built a new edifice ca. 1991, there was some friction about where the organ was to be placed in the new achitecture. Mr. Votteler wanted it front and center. Others had reservations about this. Ultimately, the decision ws made not to re-install the Votteler, and it was given back to the grandson. Subsequent placement is not known. -Jim Stettner
