2024-02-15 - Möller Op. 348 of 1901, with entirely mechanical action, was built for McKendree Methodist Episcopal Church of Arlington, Maryland, now a northwestern part of Baltimore, at 5260 Reisterstown Road. It cost $1,400 as part of 1901 “improvements” to the building and replaced a pipe organ of unknown provenance. Upon merging with two other congregations in 1944 the name became Arlington United Methodist Church (subsequently Arlington-Lewin United Methodist) and met in the McKendree building. That building was extensively “rebuilt” and rededicated on September 30, 1951, with “dedication of the new organ” (builder unknown) October 7. The building was sold in December 2023. -- information provided by William T. Van Pelt, 2024-02-14 -Paul R. Marchesano
2025-04-28 - The "new organ" that replaced the Moller was reportedly the first Allen organ in Baltimore. It was Allen's model B-3. I played it from 1977 to 1981. -Mark Hurley
