2009-05-26 - Identified through information in List of More than 5200 Moller Pipe Organs (Hagerstown, Maryland. M. P. Möller, 1928). Façade retained in two-manual Schantz organ that replaced it in 2008. -Database Manager
2011-08-08 - Updated through online information from Jim Donovan. -- The Möller organ was ripped out by contractors and taken to the landfill, over the protests of folks who wanted to buy it. Sadly, nothing survives. Some fabulous reeds. -Database Manager

2019-05-20 - Updated by Rich Schneider, who maintains the organ.

I started working for Warren B Gratian in 1976 and visited this organ with him a couple of times during my employment. I was aware that this instrument had been rebuilt by him in the early 1970’s prior to my employment. I have no knowledge as to exactly what the scope of work that was done at that time was, but knowing other similar Gratian projects from that era, I would assume the pipes were probably taken out, returned to Kenney, washed & fitted with tuning slides of his own manufacture. Also, some form of chest renovations took place, such as updating the C-17 Chest magnets to C-65 series; possibly using older magnets from another source which were hand-rewound by his elderly female shop assistant, Mrs. Camolia Gash. Switching was likely changed to Reisner gang switches and multi-finger relay units, replacing anything pneumatically operated. I believe the console still had its pneumatic operating system. Since these visits occurred some 43 years ago, it is different to recall every detail I saw at that time. -Database Manager
