2007-09-27 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- ORIGINALLY BUILT BY GEO. STEVENS (ca. 1874) Freestanding in the rear gallery. 3-sectional facade contains 17 gold-painted pipes arranged: 5-7-5. The keydesk area is somewhat transitional. The keydesk is recessed, but it has terraced stopjambs like a projecting keydesk, rather than drawknobs in vertical rows. The Pedal 16' Sub Bass is actually a Double Open Diapason, and has only 16 pipes with a repeating action for notes 17-25. -Database Manager
2021-05-26 - The organ is, and has always been a George Stevens. He is the original builder. The pedal consists of two full compass pedal stops: a 16' Open Diapason of wood and a 16' Bourdon. There are no repeated notes. Church is a summer chapel only - no heat, no insulation. Organ is in fine condition. -Eric Anderson
