2022-08-08 - Written by Eugene Poole, longtime Moller sales rep, on the back of the photo: "The organ was installed in 1911. 69 years ago and it is still in daily use. In 1933 Miss Messenger, Principal of the school, consulted with us regarding 'repairs.' We suggested the organ be electrified. In 1947 Miss Nelson, Principal, asked us to present a proposal for 'essential repairs.' At the request of the Headmaster in 1970 we reviewed with the Music Director the possibility of modernization of the organ. this 18-rank Moller pipe organ, with 1,067 pipes, has provided continuous service for 69 years without ever having been given any major attention, in fact it has been only very occasionally tuned." -Jeff Scofield
