2009-08-23 - Identified through on-line information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ was dedicated on April 17, 1958, and was purchased for $24,350. The organist for the dedication concert was Mrs. Blanche V. Packee. The windchests and console are Verlinden's work, but many of the pipes appear to be reused from a different instrument. The pipes -- in sound, appearance, and stop name -- resemble those from the early 1900s. The Great principal chorus is exposed; the rest of the Great and the Choir are under expression together in the center chamber. The Swell is also in the center section, but is under separate expression. -Database Manager
