Notes

2004-10-30 - Moved to Sycamore Springs Resort, Sabetha, KS. -Database Manager

2025-02-18 - This organ was donated with the building in which it was located to Albany Historical Society. It was moved with the building February 24th, 2023 to the museum grounds at 2441 204th Rd, Sabetha, KS. The building is the Rock Creek Church which was a Church of the Brethren congregation originally. During its time at Sycamore Springs and presently at its new location, the church is not associated with any denomination. To be clear, the owners at both its last location and the current location allow local churches to conduct services in the building. The organ itself came from the First Baptist Church in Hiawatha, KS. Our research indicates that it was built somewhere between 1883 and 1885. This is based on the where and what is on the tag on the console. Information received online from Alex Dawdy on 2025-01-22 -Paul R. Marchesano
