2020-09-14 - M. P. Möller Opus 1694 was originally purchased for and installed in the Russell A. Alger house at 150 W. Fort St. in 1914. Palestine Lodge No. 357, F&AM purchased the home in 1913 and converted it into a lodge building, signing the organ contract shortly thereafter. The lodge met here until 1935 when they moved to the Detroit Masonic Temple. Palestine took the organ with them and had it re-installed in the Greek Ionic lodge room on the 5th floor where it has remained since. -William M. Worden
