2017-05-07 - Updated by Steven Bartley, naming this as the source of information: Polk's Baltimore city directory 1915 pg 699; Sun Paper Jun 23, 1915 pg5.

In 1915 there is only one lodge listed for the Elks in Baltimore, that being a handsome 5 storied building at 307-309 W Fayette Street. An open house, at the lodge, covered in the Sun Paper gives a mention of the organ "The electric pipe-organ is one of the features of the building. It stands behind the dais on which the exalted ruler sits, facing the entrance to the room. Deep-toned chimes and tinkling sleighbells form a part of its equipment. Its gilded pipes are nearly as high as the 24-foot ceiling." -Database Manager
