2014-02-25 - Updated through online information from William Dunklin. -- Organ cost $5,700 and "contained many used parts." The Avenue B was a sumptuous hall built on the site of the tenement where Marcus Loew had spent his childhood. Loew went on to head Loew's Theatres and MGM Studios. The Loew's Avenue B closed in the late 1950's and was torn down shortly afterwards. Fate of the organ is unknown. -Database Manager
