2012-03-28 - Updated through online information from Rev. Dr. Norman F. David. -- This organ has baroque voicing with excellent diapasons and flutes. The sound of the swell ranks is controlled by doors that are opened manually by the organist. The great pipes are exposed at the top of the cabinet and are seen above the reredos that covers the lower part of the organ. Swell louvers controlled by a center swell pedal above the pedal board controls the volume of the great, which can be intense when the "mixture III" stop is opened. The existing organ case has room for two additional ranks, and the church plans to engage the Andover Organ Company to install a string rank and a reed rank to be dedicated at the church's 75th Anniversary in September of 2013. -Database Manager
