The case is made of pine and is faux-grained to imitate rose- wood. The 3-sectional façade contains the first 15 pipes of the Great 8' Open Diapason arranged 4-7-4. The façade pipes were originally gilded and later decorated. The case “carvings” are actually made of cast iron. The keydesk and stopjambs of black walnut are recessed behind hinged doors. The drawknobs are arranged in two rows on either side of the keydesk on flat jambs. The two Great combination trundles act on the 4' Prin- cipal and 2' Fifteenth. The Swell is located above the Great with the Swell bass un- enclosed behind the Great. The Pedal 16' Sub Bass is diaton- ically divided at the sides. The Great 8' Trumpet was later replaced by an 8' German Gamba. Sources: 1972 OHS National Convention Handbook [Received from James R. Stettner 2013-03-05.]
