2016-11-09 - Updated through online information from Steve Bartley. <br>In 1909 the Exeter St Methodist congregation sold their building (Exeter near Gay St)to a commercial venture, and joined with the Chester St Congregation, taking over the "Our Savior's Mission Meeting House", at 501 N Milton St. It is possible that the building they occupied had an organ or the Exeter group brought, with them, their 1871 Pomplitz organ. This might explain why they did not purchase the Moller until 1917. Photos, on the present congregation's (New Lebanon Baptist Church) show some of the interior of the building today. The pulpit area has been renovated, and no organ, grille, or facade is seen. Photos showing the rear of the building also show no organ. -Database Manager
