2008-09-08 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- 3-sectional facade containing 27 ornately stencilled pipes arranged: 7-13-7. The organ was dedicated an Pontifical Vespers on September 2, 1889. Original cost was $3,500.00. The organ was refurbished by Andover in 1971 as their R-153. NOTES
The original cost of the organ was $3,500.00. The organ is free-standing and encased
in the rear gallery. The 3-sectional façade contains 27 stenciled pipes arranged:
7 – 13 - 7. The keydesk is attached and projecting. It has a lid which can be lifted
to form a music rack. Stops are as drawknobs in terraced jambs on either side of the
manuals. The organ was formally dedicated at the Pontifical Vesper Service on September
2, 1889.
