2011-04-06 - Updated through on-line information from Betty Jo Braun. -- The pipes of the Great division are now exposed and visible on either side at the front. This improves the projection and beauty of their sound. They are the basis for the support of the singing congregation, and the music of the organ itself. The pipes of the swell division and the Pedal are enclosed inside the original organ chamber, which has been revised with a larger tonal opening to improve projection and temperature stability. These are mostly the pipes of the original organ, but revised for new sounds and musical function. The organ console has been rebuilt, and its entire internal electrical materials replaced with modern solid-state equipment. Conveniences for the organist include transposing, pre-set memories & recording capabilities. -Database Manager
