2011-01-20 - Updated through on-line information from Jane Healy. -- The organ is maintained well (it gets tuned and serviced 2x a year), and is used multiple times every week for rehearsal and regular service music, plus occasionally for performances outside the normal liturgical uses. It is a small organ but it has lovely sound. It benefits from being in a very accoustically balanced space. The church sanctuary is mostly brick, slate tile, and wood with a very small perimeter of carpeting. The organ is centered on the balcony in the back of the church, on a large wooden platform that raises it up about 3 feet above the gallery floor (also wood), so that it can be seen and heard well throughout the sanctuary. -Database Manager
