2021-03-01 - In late 1967 this organ was still used as a practice organ in Studio A. There had been a water leak that silenced the Pedal 16' Open, and the organ ciphered most of the time. After the fall semester it was no longer used for practice since practice there was futile. Pipes were located in chambers behind the stage and was heard on Norwegian church service broadcasts on radio station WCAL. The console was below the stage on the main floor, to the left side of the stage facing across the room. Shortly thereafter it was rebuilt by Roland Rutz and installed at Evangelical Covenant Church in North Mankato, MN. When that congregation built a new church, the organ was parsed out for parts. -David Engen
