2010-05-12 - Updated through on-line information from Joe Holden. -- St. Casimir was closed in 2008 and consolidated into nearby St. John the Evangelist. Negotiations are underway to move/rebuild/refurbish instrument at St. Nicholas Parish, Wilkes-Barre, about 8 miles to the south. -Database Manager
2012-04-23 - Updated through online information from Benjamin Schultz (Ben). -- Organ has been carefully removed from St. Casimir's Church (the church building sold) and is headed to St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA to be configured in the taller, narrower space available. Additional ranks are to be procured and added to the organ during reassembly. Organ will continue to be used for liturgies and concerts. Last known anticipated date of completion is December 2012. -Database Manager
2024-08-25 - Updated though online information from Michael Barone (August 23, 2024): This organ was relocated from St. Casimir's, Pittston to St. Nicholas RC Church, Wilkes-Barre, PA, with some substantial visual and tonal alterations, though retaining a majority of the original registers. -Jim Stettner
