2013-08-10 - Updated through online information from Steve Bartley. -- Based on church lore, This organ was move from H Street Christian and installed by Ken Meyer organ service firm of Baltimore to Emmanuel Methodist, 10755 Scaggsville Road, Laurel, Maryland. At some time in the past about 1/2 of the ranks were removed an replaced with new ranks reflecting the fashion of the organ reform movement. No changes were made to the mechanism. In the 1990s church members moved the organ to the attic of a new church building. A newer second hand blower was added at this time. The overall condition of the organ, especially the console was very poor and unreliable. In the 2000s the church installed a new electronic organ. The Moller console was removed. The fate of the pipes & mechanism- unknown. -Database Manager
