2019-06-25 - Updated by Alex Jones, who has heard or played the organ. Console originally located in a fixed, central position in choir loft. Has since been moved and placed to one side. The organ is divided into two separate cases in the gallery with facade pipes on display. Blower is of the old kinetic type and contains an oil air filter attachment. It is located in the attic space above the choir loft under the south bell tower. The AC Supply to the blower along with the main console cable have long since been disconnected. The organ has not been heard in approximately 20 years. Upon recent inspection however, it appears that the instrument is internally intact. The Great 8\' Tuba was removed some years ago and a 2\' Fifteenth was installed in its place. The 16\' Pedal Trombone extension of this rank still exists. I am informed by a reliable source that this was once a really pleasant, good example of Moller\'s work in the 1920\'s and it faithfully served the parish until the 1980\'s when it ceased to be maintained and used. It has since quietly lingered in the gallery gathering dust. -Database Manager
