2013-12-28 - Updated through online information from Nicholas Basehore. -- The information on the stop list submitted by Evan Brickner is incorrect. The original instrument is not Austin Op. 1295, 1925. The original is Austin Op. 175, 1906. I have a photocopy of the original contract from Austin, signed by Austin representative Herbert Brown, and Harrisburg Bishop J. W. Shanahan. -Database Manager
2019-05-24 - Updated by Thomas T Becker, who maintains the organ. <br>Brunner & Associates LLC is somehow being presented as having rebuilt the organ. This is not the case. The last rebuild occurred in the '80s by Gundling Organ Company, now defunct. In 2005, a lightning strike destroyed the Gundling installed Solid-State system. R. J. Brunner & Co. contracted with the cathedral to replace the Solid-State system and make some console changes. No work has been done to the organ proper since Gundling did their last rebuild. -Database Manager
