Daniel Hancock. -- In "The History of the Organ in the United States," Orpha Ochse writes, "According to Maurer, an English-made organ was installed in Christ Church, Middletown, Connecticut. Richard Alsop imported this instrument and gave it to the parish after the church was completed in 1755." -Database Manager
