2010-06-21 - Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- 20 ranks were installed with an additional 42 prepared-for; the downtown location was sold in 1990 and the congregation moved to a much small facility in suburban Clarkston. -Database Manager

2021-01-19 - First Congregational Church of Pontiac sold the Gothic-style building in 1997 to investors who renovated it and made it The Sanctum nightclub. It was sold in 1999 and later reopened as Clutch Cargo’s, which shut down in 2013; the building was then sold to a family who donated it to Grace Gospel Fellowship, who spent over $2 million to convert the buildings, including the 650-seat sanctuary, for their use. -Jeff Scofield
