2007-03-22 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is free-standing and encased. Case of dark oak. 5-sectional facade contains 43 pipes arranged: 5-14-5-14-5. The middle sections of 14 pipes each are divided into upper (5 pipes) and lower (9 pipes) sections. The organ was originally installed in the former building at this same address. That building is now the Parish Hall. Winding is entirely from one bellow. The organ was pictured and stopist given in the September 1976 issue of Music, Vol. 10, No. 9, pg. 28. It is not know who moved the organ to the new [present] edifice. -Database Manager
2019-01-28 - Updated by Dan Miller, who has heard or played the organ. <br> <br>I have been the organist at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, playing this Wilhelm, since 2000. The organ has been very stable and rarely has been tuned. Thru the years, only 1 tracker broke and was repaired/replaced. -Database Manager

The keydesk is attached and projecting without a cover. The drawknobs are in vertical rows on flat jambs to either side of the manuals. The façade is 5- sectional and contains 43 pipes arranged: 5-14-5-14-5. The middle sections of 14 pipes each are divided into upper (5 pipes) and lower (9 pipes) sections. Winding is entirely from one bellow. The 8' Trompete may only be played on one division at a time, but not on both the HW and the Pedal simultaneously. Tonal finishing was completed by Christoph Linde. The organ was originally installed in the former building at this same address. That building is now the Parish Hall.
