2013-04-03 - Updated through online information from Steve Bartley. -- This organ is still in use, though the Methodist congregation has since moved to a newer building. Presently called Rising Sun Presbyterian. The Moller organ is in a chamber at the right of the pulpit area, and contains a facade of working and dummy pipes, with the typical Moller Oak wainscot. The Great is duplexed from the Swell, with addition of a massive lead phonon diapason. The Swell contains a Stopped Diapson, Viol d Orchestre, Celeste, Oboe, Vox Humana, Dulciana, and 4 open wood flute, Chimes. The pedal has a Subbass, which Moller extended to play at 16-8-4, The entire organ was removed to the Moller factory and rebuilt in the 1950s. The Great primary action was releathered in 2010. The rest of the organ is in fair-poor condition. -Database Manager

2017-05-04 - Updated by Steven Bartley, who maintains the organ.
The Methodist congregation moved to a new building, sometime in the late 20th century.
The building is presently occupied by a Reformed Presbyterian congregation.
The room is small and heavily carpeted.
This is a standard Moller duplex organ, of the early 1920s. Like so many Moller organs, of this period the stop list is very similar from one organ to another, mostly unison duplexing of ranks between keyboards as opposed to octave duplexing. The Great Open Diapason is of a massive scale, had been leather lipped and produced a rather dull flute tone. A Vox Humana had been included on a small elevated chest.
The organ was shipped back to the factory, in the 1950s for rebuilding, but no tonal changes were made. All in one side chamber, floor level with a picket fence of pipes and woodwork below. -Database Manager
