The organ is free-standing in the centre of the stage/chancel in a modern case fashioned of natural and stained solid red oak.The attached console has plum and palisander wood keys, cherry stop tablets, and walnut trim. The façade pipes are of spotted metal and burnished zinc and are from the Great 8' Principal, the Pedal 16' Principal, and the Pedal 8' Octave. The Solo horizontal trumpet is of polished copper with hand-hammered bells. The divisions are positioned in the case according to Werkprinzip, the Solo being in Kronwerk position. The organ has solid-state combination action. Tuning is of equal temperament and the wind steady. The tonal scheme was designed by Walter Holtkamp, Jr. and college organist Rick L.R. Erickson. The classic French-style reeds and the high tin-content mixtures were imported. Tonal finishing was done by Joseph Mahon and Michael Shofar of Holtkamp.
