2011-12-05 - Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- North Austin was one of the largest Lutheran congregations in the country in the 1930s; the sanctuary was badly damaged by fire in 1985 and $3 million was spent to restore it; in September 2007, the congregation of around 10 turned the facilities over to the United Mission of Christ Lutheran Church. -Database Manager
