2017-05-02 - This is the largest theater in America; built to seat 6,717, it currently seats 6,308 - compared to the 5,940-seat Radio City Music Hall; the immense cantilevered balcony of the Shrine Auditorium actually seats more than the main floor. -Database Manager

2013-05-14 - Updated through online information from Larry Freeman. -- In the 1960s, the organ was used monthly by the evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman and played by her organist Charles C. Beebee. I also sang in the Kathryn Kuhlman Concert Choir for many years at the Shrine Auditorium. The Auditorium and Organ were featured in a segment by Huell Houser on the "California Gold" series of tapes on PBS.<br> I truly enjoyed hearing the great Möller. It filled the 6,000-seat auditorium and sounded fabulous! -Database Manager
