2012-11-19 - Updated through online information from Randy Terry. -- It is my understanding that the original console now controls a mixed-breed organ in the Fort Payne, Alabama, Opera House. Console in fixed location on the audience floor to the left, and pipes in a chamber upper house left. Norville Hall installation. -Database Manager

2022-07-13 - Newspaper article from The Birmingham News, Sunday, October 30, 1927. MISS RUTH SNYDER TO PLAY NEW PANTAGES KILGEN ORGAN Miss Ruth Snyder has been chosen as one of the two organists to play at the console of the new, three-manual, 80-stop Kilgen organ, at the new Pantages Theater which opens Monday. Miss Snyder, although still quite youthful, has had considerable experience as organist at the Lyric, the Empire and other theaters, and is considered one of the best in that field here. Mrs. Francis Hunt Ward will also be organist at this theater. -William Dunklin
