2016-03-07 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. <br>The 'History' section of the church's website states, "In September 1867, the cornerstone for the church was laid on the new site at Ridge Avenue and below School House Lane. One year later the new church, costing, $8,000 was dedicated to the worship of Almighty God. About this time, the congregation received a gift of its first pipe organ from Mr. James Dobson, a prominent East Falls mill owner." -Database Manager
