2011-08-06 - Updated through online information from paul marchesano. -- The organ was removed to storage in 1986. Its final public concert was held on January 5, 1986 to an audience of more than 300 (NY Times, Sunday, February 9, 1986). The rank count has been reported variously as 59, 65, and 69. An accurate count may be taken if the organ finds a new home; I believe 65 or 69 are the best estimates, depending on the amount of unification in the Pedal. -Database Manager
