Notes

2010-01-11 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the removal, rebuilding, tonal changes, and reinstallation of Balcom and Vaughan's opus 777 built in 1971 for Covenant Christian Church in Spokane, WA. Trinity purchased it for roughly $40,000.00. The overhead framework for the organ and the swell boxes ran about $110,000.00. Some of the original ranks were not reinstalled due to both space limitations and desired tonal changes. Two new 8' stops were installed utilizing used pipework of unknown provenance. The organ retains some of the original Möller pipework from Central Christian Church in Spokane. The organ was consecrated in worship and recital on Sunday, January 9, 2010 with parish organist David Spring at the console and The Rt. Rev. Greg Rickel, Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia, presiding. The Dedicatory Recital will be January 29, 2010 with Seattle organist David DiFiore as recitalist. -Database Manager
