2010-08-29 - From the NYC AGO NYC Organ Project: The Casavant Frères Factory Specification (Dec. 21, 1965) shows that the builder provided a detached two-manual console of oak with an interior of mahogany with a hand-rubbed flat finish. Stops and couplers were controlled by tilting tablets placed above the upper keyboard. Casavant did not built any casework, grilles, ornamental or displayed work. A Memo of Agreement (Aug. 17, 1966 states that Casavant agreed to add an 8' Vox Coelestis (TC - 49 pipes) to the Swell division of the organ already being built. Since the organ was installed, a Trompette en chamade and several digital ranks have been added. -Database Manager
