2011-01-03 - Updated through on-line information from Michael Smith. -- The congregation has given up the building to the local historical society, which plans to turn it into some kind of performance space. Unfortunately these plans emphatically do not include the organ. As of this writing (1 January 2010) I'm told by local people familiar with the situation that the organ needs to be removed rather soon. The historical society, I gather, is willing to provide storage space for it, for some period of time, until a home can be found for it. It's a very sweet little instrument and in quite good condition. Assistance, preferably experienced assistance, will be needed in disassembling and storing it. -Database Manager

2011-07-24 - Updated through online information from Rev. Dr. Richard M Sainsbury. -- The Wm. F. Smith Pipe Organ has been moved under the direction of Larry Nevin to the Westport Church, Swanzey, New Hampshire. He is currently it there. This July of 2011. -Database Manager
